From the top of the "C", add two tall, pointy ears, ending level with the top of the shape. Inside the left hand ear, add another small triangle, and place a vertical line in the very center of this.

Add a line around half an inch from the top and the bottom to create the magician's wand, and thicken the line of the bunny's chin.

Abracadabra! You have created a rabbit emerging from a hat, where once there was mere blank paper – you are truly a wonderful magician.

When it comes to adorable pets, bunnies must be up there as one of the most popular – they are furry, smart, and incredibly cute, and this makes them a much-loved family member in many cases.

Taking care of them requires a lot of work and dedication – and this includes ensuring that your furry friend is neutered as soon as it is safe to do so. Did you know, however, that female bunnies have the potential to produce around 8 litters a year – and that the largest litter ever produced consisted of a whopping 24 babies? Unless you are looking to significantly expand your rabbit family, this is something to avoid, so early neutering is recommended – especially when you consider the fact that the oldest rabbit in the world lived to 16 years old, and the average lifespan is around 8 to 9 years old!

On a side note, the babies that are born may look a little strange – baby rabbits, also known as "kits" or "kittens", are totally furless, and tend to have their eyes closed until around two weeks after they are born – this is especially the case in bunnies raised by hand.

When they are fully grown, rabbits can run at speeds of up to 40 mph, and will acquire all of their 28 sharp teeth. They will grow fairly quickly and, depending on the breed, can get quite large – the biggest bunny in the world stood at 4 ft 3 in (129 cm), and weighed around 50 lbs!
